Salary/Wage: $17 - $20 an hour (Wage depends on years of experience and education level.)

Description:

In collaboration with the lead teacher, the teacher is responsible for creating an environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of the children in their assigned classroom. They should serve as a team member in developing creative lesson plans and implementing them in their respective classrooms.

Responsibilities:

Develop, present and evaluate age-appropriate lesson plans with the lead teacher
Supervise all classroom and daily routine activities
Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with families and other staff members
Establish a nurturing relationship with the children in the classroom and serve as a positive role model
Responsible to work in compliance of state regulations
Maintain and model high standard of professional confidentiality

Qualifications:

CDA (Child Development Associate), associate degree, bachelor's or master's degree in early childhood or related field.
Minimum of 3 months paid or volunteers experience in a childcare setting
Knowledge of children's developmental stages

Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential

Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential
