Description:

Full-Time Assistant Teacher with Early Childhood experience. A CDA is the minimum qualification. An associate's degree in early childhood education degree is preferred. (Degree can be in a related field). Assistant teacher is able to work in either a 3K or Pre-K classroom. Also, the candidate must be available to work the hours from 8:00 to 6:00. The teaching staff has a rotating schedule; therefore, the schedule is flexible. It may be 8:00 to 3:30 or 10:30 to 6:00.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in the classroom. Working as a team is essential. The Assistant Teacher needs to be or become familiar with the "Creative Curriculum" (Can be trained if needed). Also, applicant should be computer knowledgeable. There will be some work to be done on a computer. The most important responsibility is to be to a nurturing caregiver, demonstrates patience, kindness, and makes children feel safe and loved.

Qualifications:

At minimum a CDA certificate. An associate's degree in early childhood is preferred. Ideally, we would like a candidate who has some experience working with young children. Also, continuing their education, pursuing to become a certified lead teacher as a goal is a plus.

Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
