Teacher Assistant 

Responsibilities:

• Safety: Ensuring children are safe and supervised at all times 
• Activities: Engaging children in activities that stimulate their development 
• Daily tasks: Helping children with activities of daily life, such as eating, dressing, and using the restroom 
• Communication: Communicating with parents and other teachers about the children's care 
• Environment: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for the children 
• Classroom management: Supporting lead teachers with lesson plans and daily activities 
• Record keeping: Assisting with attendance records, grades, and progress notes 
• Behavior: Helping children learn appropriate behavior and social skills, and enforcing rules 
• Professional development: Completing professional development annually and implementing what is learned in the
