Description:

The position is for the 3K class with 15 3-year-old students.     

Responsibilities:

Following all the curriculum guidelines the DOE NYC requests and the assessment procedures need to be done in a timely manner.  The teacher needs to be familiar with the Creative Curriculum and the Teaching Strategies Gold.   

Qualifications:

According to the regulations of the DOHMH and DOE, the teacher has to hold a bachelor degree in early childhood education, sociology, or psychology at least, and if you hold a New York State Certification in early childhood education will be a plus.  

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification

Additional Information:

The salary levels are based on the education major, NYS certified or not, and the highest education degree.  It is for the teaching duty from September 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2025.  It has to be approved by the DOE NYC.
