Description:

The Lead Teacher is responsible for providing instructional leadership, fostering a collaborative teaching environment, and enhancing the educational experience for all students. This role involves mentoring teachers, coordinating curriculum implementation, and ensuring compliance with state educational standards

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students based on the Montessori curriculum guidelines
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning atmosphere
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement Montessori educational programs
- Utilize Montessori teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles
- Foster a love for learning and encourage student participation
- Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance student engagement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of Montessori curriculum
- Familiarity with daycare regulations and child welfare guidelines
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Passion for educating and inspiring students.

Minimum Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification

Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
